Back to Beyond Group Show

I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in a group show with 9 other artists at the Chuck Akudu gallery from February 24-March 9. This show is themed around the concept of the presence of the wilderness in urban settings, and will feature work from Dave Bell, Sean Lewis, Abbas Rizvi, Julian Altrows, Corey Smith, Alex Christiani, Galen Milne-Hines, Caitlin Taguibaowow, Slav Kravchenko and Adrian Forrow.

Today is the day!

Six of my works will be going up at Not My Dog at around 7pm this evening, all of them for sale - with an additional option to purchase prints. Yay for exposure! A special thank you to Rachel, for without her, I would not have said exposure, and thank you to the staff of Not My Dog for the opportunity.

Old Works at Local Establishment

While the date is not concretely known at the moment, some of my work is slated to appear on the walls of a local bar on Queen St. West called Not My Dog, some time in August. These pieces will be available to purchase, so any questions on prices can be forwarded to the fine employees of Not My Dog, or myself directly.

The Ontario College of Art and Design will be holding its annual Graduate exhibition on May 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. My work will be included in the Illustration category in the open studio section of the 6th floor.

There will also be a great number of student works in all of the other disciplines in the institution, and the categories are designated to particular floors of the building so check out the website for more details.

the finishing touches

Well not exactly. Fourth year is coming to a close in a few months, and I have one week without classes in order to complete any major overhauls on the project I have been undertaking since September. Some new pieces will be entered into upcoming calls for entry - one in particular was submitted this evening to AI so this next week will consist of some major output in order to get everything set for the 26th and competitions beyond. Exiciting!

Also thinking about promo for May-June. Likely will be doing a mailer and perhaps an email campaign, but I want to produce an additional piece that I can send along with it.
